A Garda came to court to give evidence that the teenager had broken at least five of seven bail conditions imposed on him when he was last in court. The Gardai said he was strongly objecting to bail as the young man would break “one hundred bail conditions” put on him.The Garda said he was aware the man had broken a number of conditions including curfew conditions, not signing on, not answering his phone and not staying at the address he was supposed to.Solicitor Patsy Gallagher asked the man if he had broken any of his bail conditions and he admitted he had. However, Mr Gallagher asked Judge Kelly at Letterkenny District Court not to send the man back to St Patrick’s Institute as his personal safety was under threat. The young man gave evidence and said he was aware that seventeen year olds could be sent to Wheatfield Prison. However Judge Kelly ordered the man to St.Pats but ordered the necessary precautions to be taken to safeguard the man.JUDGE ADMITS THERE IS NO BAIL CONDITION TEENAGER WOULD NOT BREAK was last modified: January 14th, 2014 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:bail conditionsJudge Paul KellyLetterkenny District Courtlast_img
