Servite four-star wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown committed to Notre Dame this afternoon, and he showed off being trilingual in the process of doing it. St. Brown’s mother is from Germany, and he spent time attending school in France. He began his announcement and made his commitment in English, but dropped some German and French in between. Here’s St. Brown thanking his mother in German: So St. Brown speaks three languages, his father is a former Mr. World and Mr. Universe bodybuilder and his name is derived from the word equanimity, meaning “mental calmness, composure, and evenness of temper, especially in a difficult situation.” Oh, and he has younger brothers named Osiris and Amon-Ra. He just may be the Most Interesting Recruit In The World.last_img
