Pic: Mac Innes PhotographyA Carndonagh man scooped €17,000 on last weekend’s TV lotto gameshow – a few months after missing out on a share in a €5 million windfall.Bobby Carey, Cregnahorna, Carndonagh,is an IT Director at Forward Emphasis in Malin Head.Forward Emphasis has been very lucky with the National Lottery. Last year, a 13-strong syndicate from the company shared a €4.9m Lotto jackpot. Unfortunately Bobby was not in the right syndicate!Bobby brought the company mascot – a rubber cow – to the show as a lucky charm!He celebrated his 30th birthday in April and received the Million Euro Challenge Scratch Card as part of his birthday present from his aunt Christine McElhinney.The only son of Jackie and James Carey, Bobby likes music, going to concerts and following motorsports. His cousin Garry Carey, who also lives in Carndonagh, joined him on the show. The cousins have been lifelong friends and have lived close by all their lives. Garry works in a warehouse for the discount Solo stores.
